ADCO Assembly Technician Job Icon
  • Ability to assemble packaging equipment in a supervised environment
  • Read and interpret assembly blueprints and specifications manuals and follow the plan of assembly or building operations
  • Remove rough spots, and smooth surfaces to fit, trim, or clean parts, using hand tools and power tools

  • Verify conformance of parts to stock lists and blueprints, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers

  • Assemble systems of gears by aligning and meshing gears in gearboxes

  • Maintain and lubricate parts and components

  • Assist other assemblers to position and align components for assembly, manually or using hoists

  • Safe use of standard hand, power tools, and air tools according to safety guidelines

  • Determine parts required and communicate to Team Leader or Shop personnel when needed

  • Assist in product placement and testing of equipment
