Vertical Bottom Sealer

The VBS Vertical Bottom Sealer erects and seals the bottom flaps of cartons so they can be packed downstream.

The VBS is a continuous motion machine designed to run seal end cartons vertically so that the opening is facing up. The VBS is often used in conjunction with downstream liquid bag or scale fillers and variety pack manually loaded products. The cartons are erected by an orbital pre-break feeder from the horizontal powered carton magazine. Once the cartons are erected, the bottom flaps are closed and sealed. The cartons are then discharged onto a conveyor where they are filled downstream. Like all ADCO machines, the VBS is constructed out of stainless steel and is available in both, standard and washdown configurations.
