15D-BS
Horizontal Bottom Sealer
The 15D-BS Bottom Sealer erects and seals the bottom flaps of cartons so they can be packed downstream.
The 15D-BS is a continuous motion machine designed to run large seal end cartons horizontally and seal the bottom flaps. The 15D-BS is often used in conjunction with downstream liquid bag or scale fillers and variety pack manually loaded products. The cartons are erected by an orbital pre-break feeder from the horizontal powered carton magazine. Once the cartons are erected, the bottom flaps are closed and sealed. The finished cartons are then discharged from the end of the machine and tipped up by back pressure with the open end facing up. Like all ADCO machines, the 15D-BS is constructed out of stainless steel and is available in both standard and washdown configurations.
